You indeed have to make a long list as there are so many places to go in Windermere. As both Windermere and Bowness have a number of boutique bed and breakfast arrangements there is no dearth of accommodation options in Windermere. As for the places of interest you can visit the Ferry Nab which is on the eastern shore from where the car ferry leaves for the Ferry House. You can visit the Fell Foot which belongs to the National Trust. Newby Bridge is located in the southern end of Windermere which has a number of hotels and cottages. Lakeside on the other hand is situated at the foot of the lake and has a hotel and the Aquarium of the Lakes. There were some grand mansions overlooking the lake which were built by a wealthy businessman from Lancashire. Most of these have been converted into hotels like the Langdale Chase Hotel, Belsfield Hotel and the Wray Castle which is just opposite to Brockhole and is known as the first Lake District holiday home of Beatrix Potter. This is nice place for your family to enjoy some quality time with each other.

When one thinks of running away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, one always thinks of a serene area where adventure and peace find a match. It’s true that such places are not easy to find but www.addictedtotravel.com gives a variety of options and Jordan opens the door to a excellent choice.

Jordan is a country almost landlocked except for a short coastline on the Gulf of Aqaba. It is bounded by the beautiful mid-eastern countries of Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iraq and Israel. Almost eighty percent of the country is desert and rest comprises the east Bank uplands and Jordan Valley. This diversity in landscape makes Jordan extremely environment friendly and mixes adventure with pleasure. And the comfortable climatic conditions only add on to its positive points. In general, summers are hot and dry while winters are cool and wet with variations related to altitude.

Although Jordan is famous for the ancient biblical caves and the legend of the Holy Grail, the capital city of Amman shows an example of development as it is the main industrial centre of the country. In 1994 an historic peace agreement was signed between Jordan and Israel that ended forty six years of hostilities. www.addictedtotravel.com brings out all these aspects of the country through the means of visual aids and related articles. It also emphasizes the importance of individual cities by giving links to each important city. Over all, it’s an excellent Jordon travel guide for travellers planning a trip to Jordan.

The Wonderful Accommodation Of Phuket

I love to visit different places of the world. Whenever I get an opportunity I travel. My last trip was to Phuket. Phuket is an island situated in Andaman Sea. It is the largest island of Thailand. One can enjoy the beauty of the sea beaches as well as the adventure of the mountain cliffs. A person who is a wildlife lover can also come to Phuket as most of the areas in Phuket are forest covered. I preferred the sandy beaches of the western coast than the muddy beaches of the east.

I had heard about the nightlife and the entertainment of the Patong beach. So for this tour I decided to go there. The owners of all the Phuket Villas take care of the guests very well. They provide a comfortable lodging for the people. Most of the villas in Phuket have all the modern amenities. There are housekeeper and cook for serving the people who come here. All the villas are constructed in such a way that they can provide an excellent sea view. The experience that I had in Phuket cannot be matched with my experience of any other place.

A memorable trip to Scotland

Posted by SubmitEdge | Travel | Thursday 17 July 2008 10:53 am

I work in Phoenix technologies as a project manager and occasionally I have to go on occasional trips. Three months back I went to a trip to Berwickshire and Cheshire. It was obviously a business trip but I had three days at my disposal. My company did the bookings at the reputed Berwickshire hotels and Cheshire hotels. After the conference and workshops was over I decided to stay at the luxury hotel in Berwickshire for the remaining days. I had never been to Scotland before in my life and had great interest in the country. This ancient Scottish city mesmerised me completely during my stay.

The hotel where I stayed was a grand castle that had undergone renovation. The royal ambience swept me off my feet. When you get all the modern amenities like broadband Internet, 24-hour telephone, cable TV etc in the atmosphere and elegance of a medieval castle, the experience is bound to impress. If you want to stay in pure ecstasy, which is generally not available in hotels in and near UK cities, you must visit Berwickshire.

Cape Town for ideal vacation

Last year I received an enviable college scholarship. I was wondering what to do with it, when it suddenly occurred to me that I could live my dream by visiting Cape Town with it. I had heard a lot about this place from friends. I had checked a couple of websites to acquire in-dept knowledge about the place. The site, gave me the names of the great hotels and B&B that are there in Cape Town.

When I went there with my family, I had the best time of my life. We had put up in Pezula Resort Hotel and Spa. This resort depicts the traditional African culture, and offers some of the most exquisite features. It is situated in the fabulous city of Knysna. It was situated close to the Garden Route Accommodation, which makes the resort all the more attractive. During our stay at the Pezula Resort, I realized that there couldn’t be a better place than Cape Town. On waking up, the first thing I noticed was the rugged cliffs surrounding the resort. These cliffs had dense forests on them filled with wild life. I will never be able to forget that experience.
