I and my cousin John are addicted to traveling. We have explored many tourist destinations together. Last year we went to Amazon basin for a trekking adventure. We had tons of fun and met with some travelers and shared our experiences. However, on the day before our return we faced a traumatic experience. John went to rafting in the river but I opted for taking rest in the camp with others. During afternoon we got a message from him that said he was in problem and trapped in the forest by riverside. We got worried but all our efforts to contact him over cell phone failed. He was simply untraceable.

I remembered that John was carrying a GPS Tracking device in his bag. We informed the nearby police station and they started searching for the signal emitted from his device. To our relief, they tracked him and we reached the place in a rescue helicopter. John was rescued from a treetop and he was surrounded by a pack of wild dogs. Since the incident, I carry a GPS device with me wherever I go.
